Thursday night on the team call I reviewed the linking strategy that has enabled me to have connectingbenefits.com listed on the front page of google for years.

 Here is the outline:

#1 Register a domain. Link http://www.godaddy.com/ Avoid using the words ameriplan, plan, benefits, coverage  and insurance in your new domain.

#2 Domain Hosting: Godaddy has a hosting option with any purchased domain, but I host my sites with ixwebhosting.com which offers unlimited domain hosting with separate IP addresses.

#3 Decide on a format for the website you will build. Here are two options.  PageBreeze.com offers a free website creating software.  Here is a new site still in progress I set up Thursday night using pagebreeze. Wordpress is another option for creating site. the site you are looking at now was created in wordpress. There hundreds of free wordpress templates available online.

#4 After creating your site get links to your site. IMWishList.com offers a free directory and article submitter you can download and use to create links to your new site. Linkmachine.net offers a free and premium link directory for your new site. Getting quality links to a website is so important in getting your site ranked on the front pages of the search engines.  Here is my linkmachine directory with the hundreds of link partners who link to my site.
