Blogging for Leads Pt2

I hope you enjoyed my last article on blogging for leads.  You know that I have added a blog  at www.lowcostdental.biz/blog . It is exclusively available to you and members of Dream For More Team. Just register and post your articles with your website link. I just added a new article and  updated a previous article by Benjamin of NC. Take a look. I think you’ll like what you see.

When you add an article, make sure it has at least two paragraphs, your contact info and at least one website link. Hyperlinking a keyword phrase in the article is a good idea too, but don’t go overboard. You can avoid spammers, by not including an email address. When you add an article on the blog, a link to it will immediately be posted to our new LowCostDental Twitter site.

Commenting on Blogs can get you more links to your site as well. I just downloaded Neil Shearing’s Real Link Finder. It is a simple software program that finds Blogs, in your niche market, “health care”, “biz opps” etc. Then allows you to add a link to your site and leave a credible comment on the posting. This tool can help you to get hundreds of links to your website and it is totally f.r.e.e.

Remember it does take time to generate traffic and leads on the internet. It won’t happen overnight. 80% of your Ameriplan time should be spent recruiting IBOs and enrolling members.

Communicating via RSS Feeds

Getting regular communications from your upline trainers and corporate is alway important in any  Network Marketing Company. In the early days of email that was pretty simple. However over the past few years some internet providers in an effort to combat spam, have taken actions to filter their customers emails. Sure a lot of spam gets blocked, however some good emails do get added to the spam folders.

One of the best ways to receive regular communications is by subscribing to an RSS Feed. Here is a good definition of RSS. Most websites, including DreamForMoreTeam.com have an RSS feed. When you read the news on the internet, did you know that the news articles came from an RSS Feed? As soon as the article or communication is published on the publishing site/blog it is immediately add to your RSS Feed Reader if you are subscribed.

You can get News, daily postings from your favorite blog and updates from your AmeriPlan Leaders by adding an RSS Feed Reader to your desktop. Another option, is to use an RSS Reader provided by your email host. If you have GMail you can setup a page with your favorite RSS Feeds at www.google.com/reader . Yahoo users can go to http://my.yahoo.com and create a special page for RSS. There are a lot of additional features with my.yahoo.com where you can create a really cool startup page. Once you have it set up configure it as your main startup page where your Email, RSS Feeds, website links and more are all in one location. Your virtual office is now setup.  You don’t have to go website hopping anymore, you can access the sites that you  frequent the most from one page now.

If you don’t have GMail or Yahoo Mail, check with your email provider or type in “the name of your email host” and “RSS Reader” on the search engine. You are sure to find their recommendations for an RSS Reader

Member Retention

Membership Retention Keys:

  • Make sure your member knows AmeriPlan® is a DISCOUNT PLAN - Not Insurance

  • Encourage your Member to use the plan as soon as possible - a member who uses the plan then sees their membership as something that saves them money and not an expense.
  • Let your member know to expect their membership kit in 7 to 10 business days and to call you or member services if it does not arrive in that timeframe. Also let them know their cards are on the back cover of booklet.
  • Coach your member on how to use their DVPC membership card (sample):

     If your newly enrolled member has a dental or medical provider who does not accept  AmeriPlan®, get the providers name, speciality, address and phone number and the same information on the patient. Send referral information to AmeriPlan® Provider Relations @  referral@ameriplanusa.com

    Occasionally a member will cancel the plan, or their monthly billing will not go through. It is easier to keep a current member than it is to signup another. You can save a memership from being cancelled in some instances.  Check your “personal activity” at www.ameriplan.net regularly and after the 3rd and 18th billing cycles. If you have members or IBOs in the I (inactive) or C (cancelled) columns you will want to call those members/IBOs back to try to re-instate them.

 

A satisfied member will stay on the books and just as important…become a source of referrals! Referrals are the easiest sales to make!

Success Tip: Use your membership immediately! It’s what we call being a “product of the product”. Then you can “give your testimony” instead of a “sales pitch“.
